Camp Fircom welcomes a new Executive Director!

We feel very lucky to have engaged Terra McKenzie as Fircom’s new Executive Director.

Terra has a long history with Fircom hailing back to when she was a young teen of 14 and volunteering. When Fircom re-opened in 2011, Terra was one of the first participants and was quick to take on the role of re-imagining Moms and Kids’ camp, and has now coordinated this unique program at Fircom for the past 8 Summer seasons.

Terra is well known, respected and loved within the Fircom community and has a true calling to live out the mission of camp – to create communities of belonging, and experiences to grow on – and make it accessible and welcoming to all. She is very familiar with our site, operations, policies and procedures, mission, vision and values and has a passionate drive to make all aspects of Fircom – the programs, the staff team, the land and facilities – the very best they can be.

Camp Fircom has always held a special place in Terra's heart and she is both thrilled and honoured to have been appointed as Camp Fircom's new Executive Director.
