Registration for our 2025 summer camps:

  • Saturday, November 16, 2024, 10 am start - For everyone who attended a 2024 summer camp program or retreat.

  • Saturday, November 23, 2024, 10 am start - For the general public, including those who attended summer camp programs, family vacations and retreats prior to 2024.

 

Registration Day Information 

The online registration portal can be accessed through our website by clicking the "Register Here" button on any of the program pages (or CLICK HERE). We expect very high volumes of people registering on registration days, so we recommend that you register as early as possible to avoid being waitlisted. If you did not attend a program or retreat in 2024, you must wait to register on the 2025 Summer Camp General Public Registration Day. Do not ask 2024 campers to register you in their account, as the booking will be cancelled once we comb through all the registrations, and you may miss your opportunity if camps are full by the time we find you.

Due to the high volume of calls we receive on registration days, we will not be processing any phone registrations. If you do not have access to a computer, please contact our office in advance of your registration day.

Our phone lines will be very busy during registration. Each phone message comes as a voice message to our email account, and will be responded to asap. Email is always more efficient, but if that is not possible, please leave a brief message with your full name, phone number, and reason for calling and we will get back to you as soon as we're able!

Registering Online

Use the link below (or on any of the program pages) to register for camps online. Please read the prompts all the way, as each step in registration will have important information for you. With 30 minutes of inactivity, your selections will be released.

Registrations are not considered complete until the Deposit or Full Payment has been received. This is important if you choose to e-transfer, so please send the e-transfer immediately after you register, and it will be applied to your account. If you are applying for a subsidy, please be sure to send in your 2023 NOA immediately (info@fircom.ca) to secure your place in line for a subsidy. By spring of 2025 our subsidy account will be emptied.


Sessions, Dates & Fees

All information about our camp programs, grades/ages, session, and fees can be found on the Summer Camp webpage or the registration portal.

Subsidy Applicants

Camp Fircom offers Campership subsidies to families who otherwise couldn't afford the camp fees. 

To apply for a subsidy, complete the subsidy questions on your form during the online registration process. You can also select "OFFLINE PAYMENT" on the payment step to postpone payment until your subsidy has been reviewed. 

Finally, all subsidy applicants are required to submit proof of income documents by email within 7 days of registering. Proof of income should be: (a) most recent Notice of Assessment; OR (b) last three months of income slips - including wages, child support, EI, welfare, etc. Your 2023 NOA will be sufficient for registrations done before late spring, but we will require your 2024 NOA in the spring of 2025, before the subsidy is finalized. We give out subsidies in the order we receive them, and we do run out each year. When we have emptied our subsidy account, there are other funding options, such as UGM.

Payment Options

  • Credit Card: We accept Visa and Mastercard for payment through the online registration portal. Please have your credit card ready when you register.

  • E-transfer: We accept Interac E-transfer to info@fircom.ca.

  • Cheque: We check our West Vancouver mailbox infrequently in the off season, but we will accept cheques. Cheques should be made payable to Camp Fircom Society and mailed to Camp Fircom, PO Box 94027, 6655 Royal Avenue, West Vancouver, BC V7W 2B8

Cancellation Policy

By registering for a Camp Fircom program, you are agreeing to the following cancellation policy. 

Written notice by e-mail or mail is required for cancellations or to switch camp sessions and must include the camper’s full name and session dates. Session changes will be made to the best of our ability and are dependent on availability. Waitlisted campers have priority for any session that has an opening.

Cancellation Refunds are as follows:

Summer Camp registrations that are cancelled prior to June 1, 2024 will receive a full refund less a $100.00 cancellation fee. If the registration is cancelled between June 1st and fifteen days prior to the start date of the session, a refund of 50% of the Registration Fee will be given. No refund will be given within two weeks of the session start date, with the exception of cancelling for a medical emergency (including a positive COVID-19 test result). If a cancellation is for medical reasons and a medical note or proof of a positive COVID-19 test result is provided, only the $100.00 Cancellation Fee will be charged, and a CREDIT will be given for the remaining balance. For 2024 cancellations, the credit is valid until the end of our 2025 season, and can be used by anyone in the household. Campers leaving camp mid-session due to medical or behavioral reasons will not receive a refund.

Sibling Discounts

For Children & Youth Camps: An automatic discount of $40 will be applied at checkout to the second and subsequent child(ren) or teen(s).

For Family Programs: Discounts for more than one child are automatically applied at check out when registering for any of our family camps.

Camper Ages

To register online for a summer camp program, the camper must have completed the appropriate grade in the school year prior to the start of summer.

Examples: 

  • A child who wishes to register for a 2025 Junior Kids Camp must complete Grade 3 or 4 (ages 8 to 10) in June, 2025.

  • A child who wishes to register for a 2025 Senior Kids Camp must complete Grade 5 or 6 (ages 10 to 12) in June, 2025.

  • A teen who wishes to register for a 2025 Teen Camp, must complete Grade 7 to 9 (ages 12-15) in June, 2025.
