This will be an incredible and unique week at camp! Join us and get to know Gambier Island / Chá7elkwench guided by Squamish / Skwxwù7mesh culture. Indigenous and non-indigenous campers, counsellors, and facilitators will walk together through this week of joyful play and exploration. Each Polaris camper will get to choose a focus activity on the first day of camp that they will work on for 2-3 days during the week. They will be guided in this project by Squamish leaders, both elders and youth ambassadors and will be introduced to cultural teachings, songs, and history while learning new skills.
