Rustic Cabins & Teepees

Cabin

Cabins

Our six cabins ring the main field forming a central hub of life at camp. All cabins have electricity and sleep up to 16 people and have bunk beds with a sealed vinyl mattress. Cabins 1 & 2 are in a new duplex and feature leader rooms (separated sleeping quarters for 4 people). Cabins 3, 4, 5 and 6 are laid out in an open room concept.

Teepees

Two teepees are tucked behind Jubilee Hall; two more have their own quiet spot between the shop and South Camp (by the Welcome sign); and one teepee is located on the Kasota site - a bluff with gorgeous views overlooking Halkett Bay. The top flaps of each teepee open up so guests can stargaze from their sleeping bags. A solid wood decking inside and comfortable vinyl mattress make for easy sleeping off the ground.

Things to Know

Cabins and teepees are unheated and best suited to use from May until October. New communal washroom facilities in Jubilee Hall offer easy access for cabins and teepees.

The Kasota teepee has its own fire pit, composting outhouse, and is perfect for a family getaway due to it’s quiet spot. Guests wanting to cook for themselves outdoors should choose the Kasota site.

Groups staying in cabins and teepees can enjoy the delicious catering service provided in the Dining Hall. Fircom’s 120 acres offer plenty of program space to explore together. The evenings might be hanging out at Campfire Rock or, if it is raining, a roaring fire in the Breezeway or activities in the lounge in Jubilee Hall.
